Dutch Navy on 'West Africa Business Tour'

THE ROYAL NETHERLANDS NAVY JOINS HANDS WITH NABC TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR DUTCH BUSINESSES IN WEST AFRICA

The West Africa Business Tour is organized by NABC in close cooperation with The Royal Netherlands Navy and the Dutch Embassies in the different countries. The navy ship HNLMS Rotterdam will be visiting the harbors of Casablanca, Dakar, Accra, Secondi, Cotonou, Lagos and Calabar in September and October 2013 as part of the military exercise “African Winds 2013”*. During this exercise NABC organizes high level business events in and trade missions to West-Africa’s main ports.

The presence of HNLMS Rotterdam is the perfect occasion to highlight and position Dutch excellence in many different sectors like onshore and offshore industries, water, agriculture, transport & logistics, and infrastructure.

Its main aim is 'to build maritime safety and security by increasing maritime awareness, response capabilities and infrastructure.'
